Siembra Montessori Guide

We are looking for a compassionate AMI-Montessorian who will inspire and support Latine* children as they explore their world, expand their leadership skills, and practice contributing to their community.

As part of Centro Tyrone Guzman’s Early Childhood’s team, you will help us provide the best environment where children and families can thrive and achieve their dreams.

What you will do:

  • Observe children daily, keep precise and detailed records of presentations given, and prepare weekly plans for individual children as well as plans for the whole group. 
  • Monitor and evaluate each child’s developmental goals under the guidance of the Siembra Manager.
  • Provide information and support parents and caregivers continuously and consistently.
  • Support and work with special needs professionals to develop and implement care plans for children with IEP plans.

What we are looking for:

  • A compassionate bilingual, bicultural (English/Spanish) educator with a Montessori Lead Guide certificate
  • A professional with deep understanding and experience working with LGBTQIA+ Latine community.
  •  A dynamic, self-directed person that can work independently as well as be part of a team.

Job details

  • Location: Minneapolis, MN
  • Classification: Salaried/Exempt 
  • Hours/Week: Includes some evenings and/or weekends.
  • Salary: $24- $26 /hourly
  • Benefits include: Health insurance, dental, life insurance, paid sick days/vacation time, 401k and holidays.
